All we ask is for you to come and enjoy a weekend of live music. We have set forth a few rules to make every one's weekend the most pleasurable it can be.
- NO GLASS. Please bring plastic cups or cans. This is to ensure no cut feet, flat tires or cattle with glass in their belly the following week.
- NO OPEN FIRES. Feel free to bring a BBQ with you. Just let it be known there will be no weenie roast over an open fire.
- NO DOGS. We know you own the best dog in the world, but not everyone does. Dogs bark, dogs fight, dogs bite and digs crap all over the place. Keep your pooch home or be turned away at the gate.
- NO FIGHTING. Security is on site and the RCMP frequent the grounds. Any fighting or disturbances will be dealt with by the RCMP and charges will be laid. If you can't control yourself.. do everyone a favor and stay home.
- NO TRAILERS. If you plan on staying the weekend be aware that you must tent. Trailers are not allowed on the grounds.
- NO VEHICLES IN TENTING AREA. This is to ensure that nobody gets intoxicated and drives over people laying in the field or plows through tents.
- PLEASE HAVE FUN AND RESPECT YOUR FELLOW RIVERFEST FAN.

LOL, well.. sorta.
The field that is used for the event is home to cattle the rest of the year. With that said, broken glass and grass make for a stomach ache, not to mention a painful shit..lol
And you were almost correct on the bands playing til 4am but.. The last band takes to the stage at 4 am. the party goes until 5 am. (the schedule could change slightly.. in which case the last band would take to the stage at 3am.. finishing around 4am)
I remember the first year of the event when we played an extended set that saw us see the sunrise.

And the dirt road leading to the field might make you think you should be hearing banjos but it's not that kind of river. LMAO
