Stone Mary’s undeniable rough ‘n tough brand of rock ‘n roll is what gets people in the door, but what keeps them is their gritty rhythms and intoxicating vocal performance. Christine Campbell fronts the band with glorifying confidence and swagger. She wraps audiences around her finger with her voice and drops their jaws with her breath-taking guitar solos. With influences among the band varying from Led Zeppelin and The Black Crowes, to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Guns ‘n Roses, Stone Mary pays homage to their forefathers while maintaining a sound that is soulfully their own. Each member of the band grew up in different small towns on Prince Edward Island before meeting up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where they quickly formed and started hitting the streets with their original style of rock ‘n roll, blues, and funk. With Brad Stevens’ irrefutable stage presence and bitchin’ bass licks and “Old Man” Dave holding his own on the kit, the band is dynamically rounded out into an onslaught of rock!
